Fiscal Services provides support services for the Economic Assistance, Social Services, Mental Health, and Community Health & Environmental Services Departments.
The Accounting Unit is responsible for all accounting, financial statement preparation, federal and state financial reporting, budget coordination, payroll record keeping, and coordination with the internal and external auditors.
The Data Entry Unit inputs and edits all revenue and expense data on the AS/400 and prints appropriate monthly, quarterly, or annual reports for end users.
The Collections Unit determines and collects parental fees relating to out-of-home placements, correctional placements, and counseling services provided to children at a cost to Anoka County and collects MFIP and Food Stamps overpayments and fraud claims.

[_fp-includes/footer.htm]The Job Training Center provides employment and training services to the residents of Anoka County who are most in need of services. The highest priority to receive services are those who are unemployed, economically disadvantaged, and/or face multiple obstacles to gaining employment. The Job Training Center ensures that programs provided youth and adults academic enrichment, basic skills, and job specific skills training for those individuals who need them. Job seekers have access to vocational counseling, job search workshops, labor market information, job search computers, personal computers, and career planning workshops.
The ongoing development and refinement of the MN Workforce Center-Anoka County along with the Job Training Center partnership maximizes resources. Funding for JTC (Job Training Center) programs is made available through county, state, and federal governments and private foundations.
